1959 Chevrolet Apache Pickup is an uncompromising, professionally built pro-touring truck that delivers jaw-dropping power wrapped in timeless late-’50s styling. Finished in black over a custom brown leather interior, this Apache has the stance, presence, and performance to stand with today’s elite custom builds. The truck was fully restored in 2023 and has just 1,381 miles since completion.

At the heart of this build is a Sunset Performance Engines 582ci Big Block V8, based on a Dart Big M block and topped with Brodix aluminum heads and a polished aluminum intake. Fuel is delivered through a Quick Fuel 1050cfm carburetor, and the engine has been dyno proven at an incredible 835 horsepower and 776 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent through a Turbo 400 automatic transmission and into a Ford 9-inch rear end, delivering brutal acceleration with proven durability.

The custom chassis features a Scott’s Hot Rods front suspension, tubular control arms, power rack and pinion steering, and a 4-link rear suspension with custom rear wheel tubs. Massive 31x18R20 Mickey Thompson rear tires are wrapped around Hot Rods by Boyd custom 18-inch wheels, giving this Apache its aggressive, road-hugging stance. Stopping power comes from Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors.

Inside, the cabin is fully customized with brown leather bucket seats, a custom center console, Dakota Digital gauges, tilt steering, and a Pioneer double-DIN stereo. Comfort features include Vintage Air heat and air conditioning, making this high-horsepower truck surprisingly comfortable for cruising. Additional details such as billet hood hinges, custom headliner, and a wood bed with stainless strips showcase the level of craftsmanship throughout.
